"We would like everyone in Rochester and everyone who may be coming to Rochester know how happy we have been with our decision to use Sib Petix of the Petix Group, Park Avenue Realtors, as our listing agent for the sale of our three Rochester properties.
Sib has provided us highly professional, unerringly competent, and unfailingly supportive service to us over the last year. We were well aware of how hard it was going to be to go through the process of extricating ourselves from our wonderful Rochester life of 39 years and moving on to the next stage of our journey, to be near children and grandchildren in Vermont and we knew that we had to have the right person as our realtor. We first put our residence in the Crescent on East Avenue on the market in the spring of 2009. Sib was obliging as he allowed us to test the market and supportive as we tried to get the price we thought the property was worth. He worked very hard to showcase it and presented numerous offers. He did not ever try to push us to accept a price we did not want, just so he could get a sale.
This spring we got serious and listed both our residence at 1498 East Avenue and our two rental properties in the South Wedge with Sib. It has been quite a circus since April but Sib has been unflappable and has maintained his good sense of humor. He has guided us through three sets of negotiations, two sales and one sale in process. Throughout all of this we have maintained complete confidence in his judgment and in his trustworthiness. We have had no reason to doubt that he has always been acting completely in our best interests. In particular, with the sale of our residence, he understood how heart wrenching in was and provided much needed empathy. Further, he went far beyond the call of duty and did a lot of work that could, and should, have been done by others.
